There are two main locations where you can find quite a bit of fiberglass by scrapping other items. While the material mod occasionally drops from some enemies, the easiest way to get large amounts quickly is to find junk items that contain fiberglass at specific locations. It can also pop up as a daily quest.
Since the component material is used for modifying equipment and armor, you’re going to want to fill your backpack full of it.
Fallout 76 Fiberglass: Key Items to Look For
When venturing out on quests in the wasteland, be sure to keep your eyes peeled items. There are no treasure maps for Fiberglass. Instead, the material can be obtained by breaking down these various junk items in Fallout 76:
Abraxo Cleaner industrial grade Aluminum canister Blood sac Bulk fiberglass Cigar box Composite ski Industrial cleaner Jangles the Moon Monkey Rat poison Telephone Undamaged Abraxo cleaner
The Jangles the Moon Monkey junk item only produces 1 fiberglass when scrapped and is quite rare, so it isn’t a great option for farming large quantities.
Instead, let’s take a look at two places to find plenty of telephones and composite skis to break down.
Fallout 76 Fiberglass: Where to Farm It Quickly
Head to the Whitespring Resort and junk the telephones. While grabbing telephones, be on the lookout for the randomly-spawning Wendigo enemies, as well as the Wendigo boss near the Whitespring golf course. They can drop fiberglass.
The Pleasant Valley Ski Resort near Top Of The World is another decent spot for farming fiberglass. Pick up the composite skis lying around the front of the buildings to break down the fiberglass. Then head inside and look for ski racks. Be sure to also look inside the buildings for Abraxo cleaner.
If you need more fiberglass at either location, you can server hop to play the same area and farm it again.
